Mahindra Introduces BE 6e and XEV 9e Electric SUVs; All Details Here

Marking a significant event in the electric mobility space, Mahindra is set to come up with BE 6e and XEV 9e SUVs. Built on INGLO Electric Origin Architecture, INGLO is a platform for upcoming EVs prioritising efficiency, safety, performance, and sustainability.

Design

The lightweight skateboard structure offers a flat-floor design, thereby eliminating central tunnel and maximising cabin space. While enhancing seating flexibility and stability, INGLO facilitates Mahindra to transition seamlessly from athletic BE 6e to the elegant XEV 9e.

Battery

Upping the battery performance with options of 59 kWh and 79 kWh capacities, the INGLO platform uses LFP battery chemistry and cell-to-pack technology. The battery can go from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes with the help of a 175 kW DC charger.

Safety

Built with a top-of-the-line boron steel, the battery is underneath the structure, thereby forming a protective cage around the passenger cabin.

Performance

According to Mahindra, while INGLO maximises efficiency, the three-in-one powertrain can deliver power ranging between 170-210 kW for rear-wheel drives.

Intelligent Vehicle Dynamics

Encompassing a semi-active suspension system, high-power steering, and brake-by-wire technology, BE 6e and XEV 9e will offer upbeat handling. Additionally, intelligent drive modes will facilitate drivers in adapting to diverse driving conditions.
